On 29 March 2010, the Director General of the Maritime Administration issued a Directive on the basis of subsection 45 (5¹) of the Maritime Safety Act and Regulation No. 265 of the Minister of Economic Affairs and Communications of 23 December 2003 “Procedure for Ice-Breaking Activities”, regarding traffic restrictions in Muuga Harbour, the ports in the Tallinn and Kopli Bays, and Paldiski Põhjasadam and Lõunasadam (Paldiski North and South Harbour).

As of 31 March 2010, all restrictions regarding ice class and main engine output of ships entering and leaving the abovementioned ports are cancelled. This information will be published in Notices to Mariners, on the MA website, and transmitted via NAVTEX.
